What these terms cover

These terms apply to Bureel Plus and the Bureel package, the paid extras in Bureel's apps. You agree them with nealvdv (Neal Van de Velde), the maker of Bureel, a Belgian business. The free core of every app works without an account and without a subscription. Plus is meant for businesses, the self-employed and associations. Anything different only applies if we agree it in writing, by email for example.

Offer and prices

What Plus adds in an app is stated with that app; what does not exist yet, such as syncing between devices, is marked there as coming soon. The prices on the pricing page are without VAT, because our customers are businesses. When you pay, 21 % VAT is added, and you see both amounts before you pay. An obvious mistake or typo in a price does not bind us. Plus is digital: there are no shipping or delivery costs.

When your subscription starts

Your subscription starts as soon as your first payment at Mollie has gone through. You see it straight away in your Bureel account, with the date of the next renewal. Before that first payment we ask once which name and address the invoice is for.

Term, renewal and cancelling

Plus runs per month or per year, as you choose, and renews itself for the same period until you cancel. Before every renewal you first get a reminder by email: three days ahead for a month, two weeks ahead for a year. You cancel in your account, without notice. After that you pay nothing more and Plus keeps working until the end of the period you already paid for. A new price is announced to you by email in advance and only applies from a following period; if you do not want it, you cancel before that period starts.

Right of withdrawal

As a business you have no right of withdrawal, but you can always cancel as described above. If you take Plus as a consumer anyway, you may withdraw from the agreement without giving a reason within 14 days of your first payment, by emailing contact@nealvdv.be. As Plus starts straight away at your request, you then pay only for the days you already had it, and get the rest back within 14 days in the same way you paid.

Paying

You pay through Mollie, a licensed payment provider: the first time with Bancontact or your card. With that you allow Mollie to collect the following periods, by direct debit or from your card. If a renewal fails, Mollie tries again and Plus keeps working for another 7 days meanwhile. For now, ask for an invoice in your business's name through contact@nealvdv.be.

Liability

We build Bureel and the apps with care. By default the apps keep your data only on your own device: so export regularly, because if you clear your browser or lose your device, we cannot get anything back. Bureel and the apps give no tax or legal advice. We are not liable for indirect damage, such as lost profit, except in case of intent or gross negligence. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law gives you as a consumer.

Complaints

If something is not right, let us know as soon as you can through contact@nealvdv.be, with a short description. We answer as quickly as we can and look for a solution together. If you are a consumer and we cannot agree, you can also turn to the Belgian Consumer Mediation Service (consumentenombudsdienst.be).

Your data

We use your data only for your account, your subscription and your invoices, and to do what the law requires of us. How we do that and what your rights are is in our privacy statement.

Applicable law

Belgian law applies to these terms and to every agreement with us. In a dispute, the courts of the judicial district of our registered office have jurisdiction, unless the law gives you as a consumer another court.

Changes

We may change these terms. A change that affects your subscription is announced to you by email in advance; for a running period the terms stay as they were when it began. This is the version of 21 October 2026.

Model withdrawal form

Only if you took Plus as a consumer and want to withdraw (see above). Fill it in and email it to contact@nealvdv.be; your own email with the same details is fine too.

To nealvdv (Neal Van de Velde), contact@nealvdv.be:
