What we collect
Without an account, nothing that identifies you personally. Like any web server, our hosting briefly keeps technical logs (such as the IP address and the page requested) to keep the site safe and working.
What stays on your device
Your choice of light or dark and your reading comfort settings are stored in your browser's local storage. That stays on your device and goes nowhere. The apps also store your data only on your device by default; each app has its own privacy statement.
Your Bureel account
If you create an account, we keep your email address, your language, your business's billing details (name, VAT number and address), your subscriptions and your payments, in a database in the European Union. The login link is sent through Resend. Against abuse, we count how many links are requested, using an unrecognisable version of your IP address that we delete after two days.
Paying through Mollie
Payment happens at Mollie, a Dutch payment service. Mollie receives your email address and your payment details; Bureel never sees your card or your account number. If you connect an app to Bureel Plus, that app only learns whether you have Plus and until when, not who you are.
Your rights and questions
In your account you download all your data as a file and delete your account with one click. Only the amounts and dates of payments remain, without your name or address, because the bookkeeping requires it. Who makes Bureel: nealvdv, Belgium. Email questions about privacy to contact@nealvdv.be. You always have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority.
